Dra. Yolanda Báez López

YOLANDA BAEZ-LOPEZ

Received the B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from the Technological Institute of Los Mochis, Mexico in 2002. In 2008 she obtained the M.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC) and the Doctor in Science degree from UABC in 2014. She is currently a professor of industrial engineering in the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Design at the Autonomous University of Baja California. She has been Coordinator of the Department of Vocational and university linkage in the Ensenada Campus. Her research interests include Six Sigma Methodology, Lean Manufacturing, Human Reliability and statistical modeling. She has participated in several research projects related to process improvement and is author of more than 50 journal papers, book chapters and conference papers. Dr. Baez-Lopez is a member of the National System of Researches of the National Council of Science and Technology in Mexico.
